A note of hope.

“ “Hope” is the thing with feathers

That perches in the soul,

And sings the tune without the words,

And never stops at all.”

                                   ~ Emily Dickinson

During this pandemic, where we all are sitting at home, where festivals don’t feel like festivals anymore, trying to battle several things at once. This one’s for you. A note of hope.

I know that sometimes you feel troubled.

Sometimes you feel weak.

Sometimes you are trembling with fear and confusion about the future.

Sometimes you feel lonely and afraid.

Take a deep breath.

Your pain and suffering won’t last forever.

Don’t get discouraged. Remember it’s a part of life. Pain is a part of life. Suffering is a part of life. So is happiness and joy.

Don’t be afraid to dream big just because of past disappointments. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart.

People complain about stress, but some people would rather complain than change. It’s easy to be frightened at the thought of jumping off life’s high speed treadmill especially if you aren’t sure what to give up in order to slow down your life.

Don’t let this world make you bitter. Certain things happen that hurt us, most people come and leave us and most of all there are moments when you are bound to fall. Don’t let those things make you unkind. Its okay to cry. We are humans. We break. We make mistakes. But we can also build ourselves.

There are moments in your life where you feel like giving up and can’t take it anymore. It’s okay. Breathe. Inhale. Exhale. I know you are weak. But the things that show your weak side are also the ones that make you stronger in the long run.

It’s all about taking what life throws at you and learning from it. Because your hope is the only thing which never fades within you, it may dim at times, but never fade.
