Happy Teacher’s Day

To see under the covered veil
The sky that is pink and not blue
A ship that concurs and sails
A master who teaches to live without rue,

They are the passers of immortal knowledge
Read and learnt since ages hence
Yet only a day is celebrated in their honour
And not today, tomorrow and everyday whence,

To every teacher who taught me beyond oblivion
Taught me something books couldn’t
You may cease to exist one day
But your knowledgeable legacy will live and will be passed on.
