Should they censure their ethnicity,
When their liberty is held captive?
When no joy was received, nor felicity?
And their rights and laws substantive?
What paradise on earth?
Which Switzerland of east has these conflicts?
Is it a myth? is it a lie?
“Kashmirees are safe in heaven” In disguise?
Women sexually harassed,
Men brutally killed.
We’re killing our brothers,
We’re hurting our sisters,
We’re killing our own kin.
We, the supreme erudite
Are left with nothing but pure blindness
To spurn their freedom
And meticulous hatred
Is it humanity’s cessation I see?
Or is it the prevailing of a war?
Caged freedom, no education, intense rage, zealous hate
Is it the fanatical epilogue?
This simple and pristine beauty
It is not the landscapes but the people and culture
The sooner we realise that
The sooner we stop the censure.
